I had the best birthday!!!! We had a great day with family- we started out at Markie’s house and then headed down to the Stockyards for some BBQ and ended the night at Billy Bobs! Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun day!

We are back on the blog!!! After a few months of being in a deep depression about Blakely’s blog disappearing I decided today to just recreate it! I added all the old posts that I could. So I will catch you up with some news and pictures from October….
We had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think Blakely enjoyed them both. She got some great toys from Christmas. She is really getting all over the place now- and is fast! She loves pulling up and walking around tables. We are still doing Kindermusik, MOPS and story time at the library. B loves getting out!

We took Blakely to a Pumpkin Patch Party today at the local Nursery/garden center. They had a petting zoo where she enjoyed looking at all the different animals. She had a lot of fun. B just started making this funny face every time you point a camera at her. She thinks it is cute- you be the judge!

Labor Day Weekend

We went to the doctor today and she is now weighing 16.5 pounds. B is growing so fast! She now has 2 teeth and is starting to enjoy eating solids- well she likes a few things. She says dada and is sitting up much better on her own.

We celebrated Sue Sue and Papa’s big anniversary with a fun family trip to Leakey . We stayed at a nice house on the Frio River where we did lots of floating. Blakely loved the water and did not mind it being so cold. We also went to Garner State Park for some hiking. Blakely loved looking at the butterflies and deer. We had a great time! Happy Anniversary Sue Sue and Papa!

Pictures

Blakely had pictures made yesterday. They did such a good job and I spent so much money on pictures and frames. Here are a few- I got tons of copies so look for yours in the mail!
Blakely is doing great and we are still having a fun summer. She completed her swiming class- it was a great program and we will go back next year. We will start a music class in the Fall with our good friends Jennifer and Jack. Blakely is still eating rice cereal and is starting to really enjoy it! She rolls over and can now sit up on her own for a few seconds. She is also starting to really be aware of her surroundings. She loves looking at dogs and will just laugh at them. It is so fun to get her laughing! Blake has a funny face and noise he will make that will just make her lose it. Her laugh is the best sound in the world!!!!!

5 months

Blakely ate off of a spoon today. She had her first bowl of rice and loved it!

Fort Worth

Blakely made her first trip to see her Great Aunt, Markie, her name sake! We took this FOUR GENERATION picture. She also got to see and meet lots of family and friends.
