Easter

Happy Easter! We had a great Easter weekend. Friday we took Blakely on her first trip to the zoo. She enjoyed seeing all the different animals. Sunday was a fun day with friends and family. Blakely's favorite part was riding on Davis' new tractor

Blakely had a fun day today. Sue Sue came over to spend some time with her in the morning and then the afternoon she played and shopped till she dropped. We went to see the new baby and Blakely had a good time playing with her cousin Davis (forgot the camera).

one year

Blakely went to her one year check up today. She had to get a few shots but she was a very brave girl!!! She is 25% in weight and 75% in height. The doctor said she is petite but very healthy. She also has 20/20 vision. Oh and she is walking and running now. You should see me chase her around stores now. We gave the people at Office Max a huge laugh yesterday.

We had so much fun at Blakely's 1st birthday party! Thanks again to everyone that came. It meant so much to us. I wish I had more time to visit with everyone. You will all have to come back soon! B loves all her book, cds, toys and new outfits. Here are a few pictures from the party- sorry I did not know how to fix the red eye.....

Blakely has a very good friend named Jack. It is so fun to see them play together. Look at this video of him talking about his friend.

She's one!

Blakely is one today! I cannot believe it has been a year already. Here are a few pictures of the b-day girl. Blake and I sang to her as we got her out of bed this morning. I made her bug shaped blueberry muffins for breakfast and she will have a spaghetti dinner with a homemade cake tonight. Happy birthday Blakely Julia! I love you with all my heart!!!

Confessions of a bad blogger

I know I have been the worst blogger! I promise to add some new pictures very soon. I am sure I will have a bunch from B’s b-day party. Someone made me sign up for Face Book and it has been a little addictive so I have neglected the blog during my free time.

Blakely is about to be one!!! I can’t believe it- seems like we just got home from the hospital. Blakely has been such a blessing and we love her so much. She is starting to take a few steps on her own.

Wimberley Work Weekend

Blake, Gary, Blakely and I went to Wimberley this weekend to do some work. Blake and Gary worked very hard and Blakely and I ended up relaxing and taking some great naps! We stayed in this great house on the river. The surroundings were beautiful. Blakely and I enjoyed looking at all the birds, walking down to the water and even getting a few visits from the neighborhood dogs. B loved it!

B got to see cows, donkeys and longhorns up close.

Gary was a great help!!! B had a great time with her GG.

Daddy was great too!
